Finance Operations Director/ COO

A high growth publishing business is seeking to appoint a 'hands on' interim Finance Operations Director/ COO to take full responsibility across finance and operations for the next 6-12 months. Reporting into the CEO, and working as a member of the senior management team, your key responsibilities will include:

* Provide the management team with full visability of the company's financial performance and influence in a positive direction
* Support and work closely with the Senior Management team
* Oversee the production of annual budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and management accounts
* Provide financial expertise on new business initiatives, including investment appraisal, monitoring performance, and advising on strategic direction
* Assisting in the streamlining of systems and processes
* Providing analysis and profitability insight on business growth and profitability



The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who has operated at director level but also with a proven 'hands on' background. You will possess a strong track record of working within a SME Media orientated organisation. The client is ideally looking for interim professionals who can add immediate value.
