Security Consultant / Penetration Tester

About the Role:
- You will be working closely with clients offering various penetration testing services, from completing technical assessments to consultancy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of information security issues, being aware of new technologies, techniques, methodologies, vulnerabilities and market trends with the ability to communicate this throughout the team.
- Produce technical reports and executive summaries in line with company expectations within set deadlines.
- Complete risk assessments and compliance standard based audits and participate in the delivery of security management consultancy including health checks.
- When required, you will assist the commercial team in the preparation of test scopes and proposals.
- Complete administrative duties, including weekly timesheets and expense submissions. In addition to this, you will have the responsibility of identifying opportunities for further business development and growth as well as ensuring that this is communicated to your line manager and the sales department.

Experience:
- The ideal candidate will already have knowledge of common security standards and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of system configuration auditing including Windows & *NIX operating systems, network devices, firewalls, IDS/IPS devices, wireless technologies.
- Check Team Leader or Check Team Member certifications are highly desirable
- You must be eligible for SC clearance
- You must have a driving licence
