Regulatory Compliance Manager

HSBC are currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to assist the functional management of the Regulatory Compliance teams. This role is based in Canary Wharf, London. £550-£600 per day.

Role Responsibilities:

* To act as the Functional Line Manager for 3-5 Country heads of Regulatory Compliance
* Execute and implement the policies and procedures established by the Global Regulatory Compliance team and global business lines
* To liaise with relevant Regional Business Line Heads of Regulatory Compliance regarding compliance exceptions, new products and services and the development of compliance procedures, monitoring and training
* To review annual compliance plans received from country heads and track the delivery of objectives
* Work effectively with Country Heads of Regulatory Compliance and to ensure consistency in direction and advice/guidance on Compliance matters

Experience/Skills Required:

* Proven successful experience working in a compliance role covering a wide range of business areas
* Ability to clearly communicate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings
* Must have banking/financial services experience
