Senior DevOps/ Senior Platform Engineer
London - Home Based
Darwin Recruitment are currently partnered with a global advertising/events agency boasting a wealth of high end organisations for clients. Together we are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to come in to have a direct effect on the platform operations team. You will be at the forefront of this exciting organisation as they continue to shape consumer engagement and the relations they hold between the customer, brands, the products and their services through the partnership held by creativity and interactive technology.
Focused primarily on the build, deployment and configuration of the organisations infrastructure you will be part helping to develop an infrastructure that can be managed remotely and can cope with intermittent internet.
This position also offers the fantastic opportunity to travel to some of the most beautiful cities in the world such as Beijing and New York for events.
Your experience;
* A vast knowledge and background working with AWS is essential
- Experience working with Ansible is also of the up most importance.
- Developing background in Python (Or C++/JAVA)
- Experience in deploying Python (Django/Flask) applications
- Installation and configuration of services for Linux, Mac OS and Windows.
- Packaging and distributing package applications for Linux, Mac OS or Windows
- Shell Scripting
- Git and Git glow
- Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, SSH, SMTP, NTP ETC
- Vagrant
