Java Developer - Swing/AWT/UI/OOP/Linux/Denmark
My client is a fast growing and market leading robotics company with worldwide distributors and exciting growth plans in Denmark. They have recently received top industry ranking and are continuing their rapid expansion worldwide. They are seeking a talented Java Developer to be part of their highly skilled R+D team.
Responsibilities;
* Designing, developing and maintaining the high-level software of their robots
* Work on software responsible for all functionality that is not strictly related to low-level control
* Opportunity to work with complex domain logic, a domain-specific language for graphical robot programming, intuitive user interfaces, services provided to external systems, user-friendly integration with external hardware, support for third party plugins, 3D graphics, and much more
* Work in a cross functional team of software developers, UX experts and test engineers
Requirements;
* Ideally 3+ years Java experience
* Knowledge of Linux
* Experience with UI frameworks such as Swing, AWT, GWT
* Familiar with test-driven development
* Solid experience of OOP, design patterns and software architecture
* Fluent English speaking
* Creative mindset who likes to share ideas end enjoys solving complex tasks
