Finance Manager

How does working on a part time basis for a company early on its journey sound ?

Would being involved at the heart of this new business from a strategy and procedure perspective appeal?



This ambitious new scientific/bio- tech business are looking to recruit someone initially for 2 days per week to set up and evolve their finance function and support the director with commercial insight.

The role will be standalone working closely with senior staff to manage and monitor company performance as well as working with external advisors.

In the early stages this role will focus on the development and set up of the finance function, procedures and functions before moving on to delivering monthly accounts, budgets, analysis and commercial insight.

At this early stage the role requires someone 2 days per week as the business is in R&D stage but as time goes forward this may evolve.

As well as working in an SME environment the only experience requirement for this role is that you have previously working in a Bio-tech, pharmaceutical or scientific related environment so that you have some understanding of things like R&D tax credits and grants etc.

Salary for this role is up to £75k FTE pro rated for 2 days.
