Finance Manager - Head Office - FTSE 50
Our client is a FTSE 50 diversified multinational that has grown considerably in recent years, achieving strong leadership positions in markets that offer potential for further profitable growth.
The business is now looking to recruit a high potential Finance Manager to work in the central London corporate head office. You will report to the Group Finance Manager and be responsible for:
* Managing the head office accounting for the group, with responsibility for leadership and development of a team of four;
* Controlling and challenging budgets and forecasts across a variety of head office cost centres and analysing and reporting actual performance on a timely basis;
* Treasury back office with extensive involvement in tax or treasury projects, and management of foreign exchange exposures;
* Preparing monthly reporting packs and statutory accounts for the parent company, intermediate holding companies and property companies, liaising with relevant external bodies as appropriate; and
* Working with key stakeholders across the business including the business performance, treasury, tax, and financial reporting teams, providing them with relevant and value adding information as requested.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting and analytical skills, an eye for detail, a strong commercial awareness, and the emotional intelligence to manage and lead effectively.
Most importantly, you will be proactive and have the credibility, gravitas and judgement to interact effectively at the highest level and the desire to succeed in a forward thinking, multinational organisation.
