Video HW Architect/ Tech lead

Video architect - contract position - Amsterdam
For a client In the telecom industry we are looking for a video CPE hardware architect. Being active in more than 30 countries the client belongs to one of the leading companies in the telecom industry. For this project, they are looking for an architect experienced with the next generation set top boxes and you will be leading new set top boxes HW platform projects from the idea phase towards deployment.
Ideal candidate
* At least 3 years of experience with stakeholder management and vendor management
* Previous experience with set top boxes related technologies
* A good understanding of hardware architecture and design within digital video , Ex VoD
* Good knowledge of linux environments
The job
* Define functional, non-functional, and end-to-end requirements
* Leading investigation and analysis to define the technical HW design for the new HW platform
* Together with project manager define a project plan and structure for the project.
* Throughout the project being the technical lead, tracking and managing the HW vendor development
