The Role:

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) you will be required to develop and execute project plans. This will be achieved predominately by developing new business on the phone and in person. Along with this you will follow up on marketing leads, identify and develop new and existing accounts for sales and distribution in the audio-visual market. The new Business Development Manager will also be expected to develop spec and project opportunities whilst hitting set revenue and profit targets.

The Candidate:

The perfect candidate for the position of Business Development Manager will have a proven sales record in a relatable industry. They will also have the ability to find and develop high value accounts, understand commercial aspects of managing client relationships, and be confident in writing specifications and proposals. Technical knowledge and experience in I.P. based system sales is an advantage but not a must. The BDM will of course have to possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage a set sales territory.

The package:

The successful candidate for the role of Business Development Manager will receive an extremely lucrative package. This includes a Basic Salary of £50,000, an excellent commission structure leading to an OTE of £100,000 + on first year earnings. Along with this the BDM will receive a company car, private healthcare insurance and a strong pension plan.
