Our Client

An established, reputable and rapidly growing business, our client is one of the leading providers worldwide of innovative packaging solutions for food, life science & healthcare products. With more than 50 years of packaging competence they offer the correct packaging solution, paired with industry-leading customer support. They are currently seeking a high performing, driven and strategic thinking Head of Flexible Packaging Materials to join their business.

Your role will be to drive profitable sales growth by more than 100% in the next 3 years.

The Role

The leader of the materials division you will direct, the sustainable and profitable growth of the business directly and through a field sales team based throughout the UK. You will also manage international supplier relationships, ensuring best value as well as product development for the UK market.

The ideal candidate should be degree qualified in Engineering, Business, Materials, Sales or a related discipline, or equivalent by experience. You should have expertise in manufacturing, flexible packaging/ materials sales and/or engineering environments and experience of machinery and/or technical working systems would be preferable.

The successful candidate must be motivated, proactive, team-oriented and customer-obsessed, with a visible desire to deliver exceptional results.
