Scope of the project: Modernization activities for network level/layer 4 (signal transmitting over broadband connection within households and between properties)
Duration: 02/01/2018-30/06/2018 (6 months)
Extension: Possible until the end of 2018
Location: Heidelberg
Capacity: Full-time capacity (Remote work possible upon consultation)
Travel time: Willingness to travel in the area of Baden-Wuerttemberg (about 50% of the service time)
Job description:
* Management of technical projects within the field of network modernization NE4/layer 4 (broadband/ coaxial/ fiber/HFC connections)
* Independent, cross-company coordination and coordination with internal and external service providers / customers for major NE4/layer 4 modernization activities projects such as modernization in the housing sector or the modernization of decentralized networks.
* Editing and analysis of escalation cases (high impact cases)
* Processing of dismissals / complaints and fee based changes (allocation of existing NE4/layer 4 network)
* Technical evaluation of de-clustering measures including solution finding
* Coordination and implementation of construction measures in the NE4/layer 4 area
* Monitoring, quality assurance and reporting of the individual construction measures
* Implementation of quality control
* Point of contact in escalation measures as part of de-clustering / relocation NE4 / layer 4 incl. Solution finding and coordination of all measures
* Participation and coordination of the installation possibilities of larger NE4 / layer 4 systems in the field service (relocation / de-clustering NE3,4 / layer 3,4)
* Management of projects for the implementation of network reassessments measures or de-clustering measures including coordination of internal and external stakeholders
* Independent standardized acceptance (measurements) of new construction and network expansion measures taking into account the quality parameters
* Acceptance and quality control of NE4/layer 4 plants with line technical maintenance within the coaxial field including special solutions such as satellite systems
Requirements:
* Education/training as communications electronics technician or IT system technician or equivalent training or relevant project experience in this area (evident from the CV!)
* Knowledge of HFC measurement technology
* In-depth experience in the areas of NE3 and NE4 (layer 3 and 4), optimal: experience in the planning of plants using AND
* Optimal: Several years of experience as project manager within layer NE4
* Good communication skills as well as problem-solving and process-oriented thinking
* Driver's license class B and own car
* Willingness to travel
