Finance Business Partner
Southend-On-Sea - East Anglia
Reed Finance continue to support a global leader who continue to remain successful and profitable in an increasingly competitive market.
They are seeking a new commercially focused finance professional to provide extensive financial analysis to provide a comprehensive and proactive service to department heads across a variety of business units.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Partner with differing business units to build and develop annual plans
and budgets.
Lead the annual budgeting process, influencing and challenging the business submissions by product and segment
Lead the reporting and understanding of the ongoing financial performance of the business unit
Establish timely comprehensive business reviews of the current operating performance and analyse operations growth opportunities
Challenge the commercial thinking of the business unit to maximize ongoing margins through clear Revenue and Cost management
Challenging assumptions and quantifying/valuing various strategic options
Work in partnership with the business to provide financial and commercial guidance to activities
Act as the business unit representative on cross-functional business / finance groups and project teams
Facilitating financial review meetings with business leaders
The successful candidate will be a commercially and operationally focused, qualified professional who has operated at a similar level within a similar size business previously.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong experience of stakeholder management and customer/client focus. The ability to work well within teams is crucial here in addition to having the technical understand in order to facilitate your commercial day to day duties.
