Commercial Combined / Development Underwriter

Are you an ambitious Underwriter with Commercial Combined and/or Commercial Package experience?

We are looking for a Commercial Underwriter that can write business under existing delegated binding authority agreements in a competitive market place whilst maintaining good loss ratios. The role will involve writing New Business and dealing with existing renewals when needed.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in writing New Business and being able to build strong business relationships with an existing network of over 250 brokers and any new brokers. In addition, you will need to be highly knowledgeable writing a variety of manufacturing risks as well as wholesalers, distributors, leisure, etc. You will be able to display excellent technical and communication skills, have a minimum of 5 years commercial combined underwriting experience and be looking to move your career to the next stage. This is an outstanding opportunity with a forward thinking company with aspirations of becoming a major player within the insurance industry.
