Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning - Deep Learning - NLP - Bayesian - Spark - Boston

Our client is a market leading agriculture based organization, they are seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join their exceptional team based in Boston Massachusetts. They offer a wide range of clients expert services to help build a more sustainable and economic environment. As a Senior Data Scientist here you will be required to delve deep into machine learning, deep learning, nlp and other advanced analytical methods to help drive innovation and improvements in their product. They work diligently with their clients across the country to help improve natural produce, providing better quality food for future generations.



Senior Data Scientist requirements:

* MS or PhD in quantitative field, statistics, ,mathematics, machine learning, analytics, data science or applied physics .
* 3+ years in industry, focussing heavily on analytical data science problems.
* Ability to produce highly functional and unique algorithms using various machine learning methodologies, supervised/unsupervised machine learning models.
* In depth quantitative and statistical skills
* Comfortable coding in Python with specific expertise in frameworks such as pandas, R or other statistical packages.
* Deep understanding of modern Bayesian statistics and regression algorithms
* Prior exposure to the agriculture industry would be great but not essential.



Senior Data Scientist responsibilities:

* Provide thought leadership and strategic vision on machine learning, deep learning and advanced analytics.
* Interpret large data sets providing actionable insight using machine learning and artificial intelligence
* Use Machine Learning to understand crop yields, planting conditions, soil, weather and farm conditions
* Clear and concise communication skills as you will liaising externally with clients as well as internal business leaders.
* Proactive approach to the business looking for opportunities to innovate and influence the organisation in a positive way.
