UK FINANCE MANAGER

We are delighted to be able to support our Manchester based Client with their search for a Permanent UK Finance Manager.

My Client is an internationally owned Property Business who are rapidly expanding. You will be managing a team of 4 (1 Qualified Management Accountant, 1 Purchase Ledger Controller and 2 Accounts Assistants. This position is Number 1 in Finance for the UK and will report into an internationally based CFO.

Duties will include:

- Managing the whole Finance operation

- Supporting remote sites in a number of other UK locations and making sure they are financially compliant. Conducting Audits at these offices. No finance staff are based at these other UK locations. Finance is all co-ordinated out of Manchester

- Putting together budgets

- Authorising all payments

- Managing money in the UK account

Due to their listings on International Stock Exchanges, the Company is subject to a large amount of Audits.

Experience / Qualifications required:

- Fully Qualified Accountant and Active Member of the Accounting Body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)

- Experience of working at a senior level within Finance

- Sound knowledge of internal controls

- Experience of working with different cultures and dealing with different stock markets

- Honesty & Integrity is key as is resilience. You must be a self-starter who is capable of managing your own workload, working on your own initiative and being comfortable with the decisions you are making

This role will pay a salary in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 + 10% Bonus on achieving KPI's + Pension + Life Assurance + Death in Service + Free Parking + 25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays. Hours of work are 40 hours per week, between the hours of 9am - 6pm. However, due to the demands of the role, you will be required to work over & above these hours on occasions due to Senior staff being based in a different country / time zone.
