FINANCE DIRECTOR

The role is extremely varied but includes several key areas of responsibility:

Financial management: Managing operational cash flows, project cash flows and capital budgeting. Arranging project finance.

Management accounting: Regular, ongoing management accounts and project reporting. Ad hoc financial modelling.

Statutory accounts: Producing and filing Stat and tax returns for the limited companies.

Project support: Supporting project managers with project evaluation, initiation, monitoring, control & closing.

HRM: General HR duties including overseeing payroll, staff contracts, pensions and staff benefits, directors tax returns and remuneration strategy.

Bookkeeping: Oversight and quality control of bookkeeping function, creditors and debtors, authorising payments.

This position is a very hands-on role requiring a lot of initiative and self-sufficiency. The right candidate will be resilient, technically proficient and ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. Experience in the property sector is essential.

The Salary is £70k + discretionary annual bonus + benefits.
