Global E-Commerce platform, looking for a German speaking data scientist with a strong computational linguistics background. Great mentors, USA based company with huge international environment.

Are you a data scientist with a passion for linguistics and quantitative modelling?

Our client, after already conquering the data science world of the United States, are currently growing their data science team based in Berlin, and are looking for data scientists to work closely with the operations experts in planning and implementing valuable data science projects.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

* 2+ years experience in implementing NLP for data science and/or quantitative modelling
* PHD or MSC in a quantitative or computational linguistic field
* Comfortable with programming data in languages such as Scala, Java, C++, C#, PHP etc
* Knowledge of machine learning
* Team player attitude
* Solid German language and fluent in English
* Neural networks experience is a bonus

The role will involve the following:

* Partnering closely with the operations team to plan and implement data science strategies
* Serve as an algorithm lead to build advanced NLP solutions into the technical platform
* Work alongside business stakeholders to apply findings to continually improve customer experience
* Build models to uncover key learnings from data
