Are you a data scientist with a passion for quantitative modelling?

Our client, after already conquering the data science world of the United States, are currently growing their data science team based in Berlin, and are looking for data scientists to work closely with the marketing experts in planning and implementing valuable data science projects.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

* 2+ years experience in implementing quantitative models and/or PHD in a quantitative field - Computer Science, Physics, Statistics etc.
* Comfortable with programming data in languages such as Scala, Java, C++, C#, PHP etc
* Knowledge of machine learning
* Team player attitude
* Neural networks experience is a bonus
* Fluent in English

The role will involve the following:

* Partnering closely with the operations team to plan and implement data science strategies
* Work in complex data systems and wrangle data from multiple sources
* Serve as an algorithm lead to build advanced quantitative solutions into the technical platform
* Work alongside business stakeholders to apply findings to continually improve customer experience
* Build models to uncover key learnings from data
