VP Manufacturing

An excellent opportunity has come up with a leading international fashion retailer for a Vice President of Manufacturing. This leading retailer has over 300 stores and is looking to open more stores over the next 5 years and break into new markets.

In this role you will be integral in the management of the businesses manufacturing plants overseeing the coordination of 6500 employees. Managing all areas of manufacturing including production planning, engineering and technical purchasing you will develop budget and goals for each of the manufacturing units. You will have full P&L responsibility and will be expected to maximise efficiency and improve the cost per minute rate to meet price targets.

The successful candidate will oversee the quality performance working closely with the planning, merchandising, design and product development teams. The desired candidate would have a solid background in casual apparel in the manufacturing sector. We want to hear from people who have direct experience of factory management with more than 1000 direct workers.
