Warehousing Consultant - Saudi Arabia

My client is a niche-consulting firm, focused on Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Customer Relationship Management. Successfully incorporated in Europe, Argon with the intention of building on its success recently launched offices in the fast growing market of the Middle East. Based out of Bahrain, they are looking to hire a Senior Warehousing Consultant to further build and lead the team of existing consultants.
Among the leaders in this field, this consultancy works with major international companies, on large scale and international projects, on strategy development to operational implementation.
The company is unique through its pragmatic and operational approach and always offers to its clients tailored solutions in order to achieve short-term benefits. This role is for a specific project to design a 150,000m warehouse in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities:
To be part of a team delivering a Warehousing consulting assignment.
To assist with the building of the practice through recruitment & development of current staff.
Assist in building market profile in this area - conferences / articles / direct marketing.
To act as a Warehousing expert on key systems or BPO/Change implementation projects.
To lead & mentor junior members of the practice.

Who we're looking for:
Degree/MBA calibre candidate
Professional experience: substantial experience of business experience in Supply Chain (Forecasts, S&OP, Master Scheduling...) and/or Logistics within major companies or consulting firm.
Deep knowledge and experience in one of the following: Supply Chain, Business Process Reengineering, Quality management, Business Transformation / Change Management principles.
Experience of designing warehouses/logistics organisations (manual or automated) and related processes (receiving, storage, tracking, distribution etc.)
Developed and managed a detailed implementation plan.
Experience of putting together a Capex budget for implementation.
Involved in selection of WMS, ideally with a good working knowledge of SAP WM module.
Strong analytical, reporting and presentational skills.
