About the Role
The Web Design Manager is responsible for the web user interface creative, implementation and maintenance. They will be responsible for turning marketing initiatives and overall company strategy into creative web solutions while monitoring quality standards and brand identity. The Web Design Manager must also provide leadership to a team of web designers and assume responsibility for hands-on creative work and/or outsourcing as required.
Specific responsibilities include:-
- Communicating brand standards to web designers as required, approving logo usage and graphic standards on all produced materials
- Liaison with other creative functions to ensure consistent brand identity, graphics standards and messaging for all produced designs
- Working with the merchandising team to prioritise and assign projects
- Evaluating web design/production trends and researching new technologies, tools to help company minimising expenses and managing overall costs
- Providing training and development for all team members.
What We’re Looking For
The successful individual will have a solid track record in e-commerce design within a consumer facing brand. They will have a broad range of web design and e-commerce experience and specific skills in web design (eg. flash) & development (html, javascript).
