Web Services Developer
North London - London
My central government client requires a Senior Web Services Developer with all aspects of designing, implementing and supporting of Web Services within a Service Orientated Architecture environment.
The successful candidate will need to have practical working knowledge & experience of each of the following:
You must be Trained in Oracle and be Oracle certified, and be an experienced Database Administrator, PL/SQL Developer.
Also important is Expereince/Training in Java/J2EE and preferably be J2EE certified.
Training in products within the rational toolset or equivalent.
Extensive experience in with developing Web Service interfaces to systems
Experience with Web Service standards, particularly WS-Addressing, SOAP, WSDL, WS-Reliable Messaging and WS-Security.
Experience of large information system projects with high transactional throughput.
Full J2EE project lifecycle experience on at least two successful major projects, and/or a good understanding of distributed database solutions.
Experience of loosely-coupled architecture, particularly Service-Oriented Architecture.
Demonstrable experience of XML and messaging-based solutions.
Experience in iterative design and development.
Ability to understand and create Unified Modelling Language (UML) artefacts, particularly Class, Packages and Sequence diagrams.
Excellent analytical and design skills including the ability to progress a business design into a design for build of interoperable Web Services.
Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus and middleware architectures, especially experience of BEA WebLogic, AquaLogic Service Bus and WebLogic Integration products
Excellent knowledge of distributed database technologies.
