My client is a market leading manufacturer of avionics products who, due to continued and sustained growth, are looking for a Certification Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Ideal candidates will be in a similar role at an Avionic/Aerospace/Defence Company although Candidates from other Safety Critical industries will also be considered. You will have strong experience of Avionics or Electronic products.

Daily Activities:
- Promote a culture of certification engagement across the organization which emphasizes shared responsibility in achieving certification
- Assist in determining certification strategy and certification basis of products
- Create a competitive advantage by developing project certification strategies which reduce project risk and yield first pass certification success
- Capture new business opportunities by developing certification approaches to meet customer needs, and generating cost estimates for certification support
- Provide technical leadership and direction for assigned organizational responsibilities, programmes and personnel, including approval/sign-off of Certification documentation.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
- Lead the Certification Team to successful certification outcomes by; - Setting the certification strategies for projects; - Coordinating certification support from the certification team with internal and external customers; - Driving proactive certification team engagement; - Resolving certification findings, actions and observations; Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
- In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, plus have the ability to affect short-term and long-term business goals.

Qualification/Experience
-Experience in certifying aircraft systems using DO-254, DO-178B and ARP 4754 guidelines
- Experience leading teams in an aviation environment
- Strong comprehension of industry regulations to include CS21 & CS25
