Chairman - Renewable Energy Sector - Private Equity

Location: Midlands South East England

Salary: Equity Stake - Substantial Investment Reward upon completion

An exciting opportunity has arisen to participate in a renewable energy business involved in solar photovoltaic and anaerobic digestion technologies. The business is committed to the generation of green energy and the existing management team has a deep subject matter knowledge, experience and understanding of the renewable energy sector. The business is moving on from a renewables consultancy to a hands on developer and energy generation company and is looking to raise significant finance.

As Chairman of the business, you will assist in the raising of Venture Capital finance and managing the ongoing relationships with funders and other equity stakeholders. The Chairman will be expected to fully participate in the opportunity for personal equity investment (suggested stake in region of £300,000) and significant investment returns will be realised upon eventual exit / sale of the company.

You must have previous experience of working with equity stakeholders, management buy-outs, raising finance and/or engaging with Venture Capital partners. Although not essential, any professional knowledge and experience of the renewable energy sector would be highly beneficial.
