Communications FPGA Engineer
Location: Southampton, (SO16), Hybrid
Salary: GBP 35,000 - GBP 65,000 pa Private Healthcare Insurance/Hybrid Working/5 weeks a year holiday

Our client are seeking enthusiastic and motivated FPGA Engineers to help and deliver solutions to their most challenging engineering problems. Theyre particularly looking for graduate and experienced degree-qualified engineers.
They are looking for candidates with an interest in wireless technology, embedded systems, and an awareness of the latest industry developments.
Role and Responsibilities:
* You will be with the team to deliver new communications systems and products
* You will participate in all phases of a project.
* Working within a small/medium enterprise (SME) means that you will have the opportunity to interact with the customers
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience in FPGA design
* Experience in languages such as VHDL, Verilog and High-Level Synthesis
* Awareness of Modelling tools such as MATLAB and Simulink
* Knowledge of Radio communications and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques
* Knowledge of Software Defined Radio (SDR) and RF techniques.
* Knowledge of Development of communication waveforms
* Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML)
* Be able to see the impact that your work is having on the continued success of the company.
