Corporate Tax Manager - German speaking

Our client is a boutique firm of accountants and tax advisers working with international businesses. As part of their team and with the support of experienced colleagues, you will advise international companies on accounting and tax issues. They are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager with strong technical corporate tax and VAT knowledge and proven team management skills gained within a practice environment.

The Role:

You will be managing a small team delivering tax compliance and advisory services to client`s international clients. You will also be involved in project and research work as well as practice management. The role is varied with good opportunities to progress.

Requirements:

* Excellent technical knowledge in VAT and / or Corporation tax as well as excellent client facing skills.
* 3 Years Tax compliance and management experience, preferably in a practice setting
* CTA/ ACA /ACCA/ATT qualified/part-qualified or equivalent accounting or tax qualification
* Any knowledge of payroll taxes and international aspects of tax would be a benefit.
* Any knowledge of accounting would also be a helpful in this role.
* Payroll knowledge and personal tax expertise would be an advantage.
* High level of numerical and analytical skills


The main job responsibilities include:

* Managing a portfolio of clients
* Managing internal tax departmental procedures and a small team
* Reviewing VAT returns and ensuring timely delivery of all VAT compliance services
* Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and computations
* Providing scenario-based VAT advice
* Overseeing and reviewing the work of junior staff.
* Attending client meetings and events
* Building working relationships to ensure the clients` needs are met
