Contract: GBP 450-GBP 550 per day rate

The Company
Our client is a leading technology-enabled company that provides industry leading expertise across automobile industry globally and are looking for an exceptional data engineer to join and support the team.
The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support the implementation and set up of the next generation of data warehouse in liaison with both the technical, business teams, sme`s and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for:
* Data extraction, acquisition and organisation for reporting purposes
* Develop, construct, test and maintain data warehouse architectures
* Align architecture with business requirements
* Find patterns using data, provide insights and process automation of data extractions
* Development of data marts / data sources and data set processes including data merging and data aggregation.
* Support data visualisation development predominantly in Tableau and KPI reporting.
* Contribute to the finding of data to load, data modelling, data warehouse design and architecture for BI and reporting tools.
Key Skills and Attributes
* A Minimum of bachelor`s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Information Technology or similar.
* Proven hands on business intelligence development or data engineering experience.
* Proven commercial experience working on Oracle data services project or similar.
* Oracle and Clover experience.
* Experienced in data modelling and data warehouse design.
* Comfortable with Tableau and Power BI.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
