This large European food group, develops, manufactures and sells high quality food products to the retail and food service sectors. With a turnover of in excess of £1billion it has market leading positions in many segments throughout Europe including the UK.
Their Midlands site, employing 150, produces a large range of high quality products for the major UK supermarkets and food distributors.
As Factory Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of day to day operations, managing the site to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability in line with divisional strategy.
You will already be in a senior management role and be looking to step up to a site management position. Ideally you will come from a fast moving responsive food production environment and have a working knowledge of frozen products manufacturing. You will be customer facing and used to working with key accounts.
Above all you will be able to demonstrate the ability to drive change in a vibrant company culture, impacting on the bottom line through exceptional customer service achievements.
Your determination, operational pragmatism and straightforward manner will be the foundations needed to work within well-defined parameters, whilst at the same time bringing fresh ideas to improve efficiency. Knowledge of H&S, hygiene, lean manufacturing and employment legislation are essential to this role.
