Financial Controller

Reed Finance are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for a market leading business based in Kings Lynn.

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain strong overall financial control requirements for the business and the wider group. This role will provide finance support to the Board of Directors, Corporate departments and groups.

The key responsibilities of this role are; overseeing the consolidated statements of financial performance are prepared in accordance with company standards, quarterly forecasts and reforecasts, statutory reporting, annual budgets, group accounting policies and reporting requirements financial commentaries and supplementary information as required. Assisting the regional businesses and corporate departments in implementing and embedding controls and upgraded systems and processes. Continuously reviewing the financial controls, reporting and transaction processing routine and implement improvements to these activities based on a value added approach.

This role will be the main point of contact for all internal controls, reporting, taxation, treasury, insurance, pensions and external auditors.

This will be the number 2 to the Finance Director on all finance related issues and will be a key member of the company's senior management and finance teams.

The ideal candidate will be an extremely high calibre qualified accountant with strong technical skills.
