Financial Controller

Financial Controller - Maldon, Essex

Salary: GBP 75,000 plus excellent benefits (company car/private healthcare/free car parking/pension)

An exciting opportunity to oversee all financial aspects of a highly successful national company and be responsible for the flow of accurate and timely financial information to the Chairman, the Board and where necessary, external parties. Offering a salary of GBP 75k plus excellent benefits, this is a great opportunity for a CCAB Qualified Accountant with 10 years plus post qualification experience.

The Company:

Our client is one of the UK`s leading suppliers of timber products, offering a service from different sites around England.

Role Responsibilities:

* Working with the Group Board in formulating strategy and long-term plans.
* Preparation/Submission of Annual Statutory Accounts Pack including liaising with Auditors.
* Responsible for overall financial control and day to day reporting.
* Lead and develop the Finance team.
* Lead and manage the budgeting process.
* Responsible for Treasury matters including maintaining the relationship with the Bank.


Essential Skills and Requirements:

* CCAB Qualified Accountant with 10 years plus post qualification experience.
* Ability to develop good working relationships with the Finance team and other colleagues.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
