My client is a well established successful bank with global interests in many different countries. We are currently seeking a strong and experienced Head of Risk and Compliance to join this high profile corporation.

The role:
You will be responsible for providing detailed challenge and guidance on the assessment, quantification and prioritisation of risk and accountable to the Board to pull together the overall view of risk and controls for the UK and for the Group.
This will include review/implementation of the risk management policy, taking into account the risk appetite of all stakeholders (operational, financial, strategic) in a manner which business managers can use locally to control day to day risks but also enables a aggregate view to be reached for the Board of the material risks facing the business.
You will bring a proven track record in risk management, governance and controls within large organisations and a good understanding of the financial services sector, preferably within banking.
