Head of Sales - Discretionary Investment Management Services - Field Based

Salary: Up to GBP 80k Depending on Experience - Plus a Generous Benefits Package

The Company

Our client provides essential support services, software and data that enable professional financial advisers, financial intermediaries and product providers to deliver better outcomes for their customers. Formed in the early 2000`s they are the UKs largest provider of outsourced regulatory and business support to financial advisers.

The Role

They are now seeking to appoint a Head of Sales - Discretionary Investment Management Services. This is a newly created position and senior role for the business, reporting into the Managing Director of Member and Client Services.

They require a candidate who has significant experience in recruiting and providing services to firms with discretionary investment management permissions (DIMs). You will need to have a very strong knowledge of how these portfolios work and a network of these firms.

This is a Remote/ Field Based position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Recruit DIM firms into the proposition
* Agree and achieve recruitment targets
* Maintain in-depth understanding of our clients services and capabilities
* Maintain good relationships with key individuals throughout the company
* Enhance the Discretionary proposition within the marketplace
* Create and follow through sales opportunities on own initiative
* Frequently report on progress through all phrases of the above
* Work with the Marketing team to create new opportunities


Experience and qualifications:

* Experience of working with and recruiting firms with Discretionary Management
* Permissions (DIMs)
* Clean and full driving licence
* History of exceeding sales targets in this sector


Person specification:

* Able to work both autonomously and with relevant teams on own initiative
* Strong sales ethic
* Highly success focused
* Strong communication and presentation skills.


Package
