RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

The school is seeking an innovative and experienced educationalist to lead the transformational development of their school in France, from its new home - the beautiful Chteau de Sauveterre.

In this exciting role, the Directeur de Sauveterre will create and manage a unique and memorable educational and cultural full-boarding experience, where children can develop academically, linguistically and personally, beyond their own expectations.

From its stunning location in the south of France close to Toulouse, the Chteau`s beautiful facilities and grounds will be the catalyst for a new and exciting chapter in the history of the school; building on over 20 years` experience of successfully operating a satellite school in France.

Leading a team of dedicated and experienced staff, the Directeur de Sauveterre will create an exciting and diverse educational and cultural enrichment programme that will help young minds to immerse themselves totally in French culture. The School will also offer the highest possible standards of pastoral care and support services, in keeping with its long-established traditions of which is one of the leading boarding schools in the UK.

The successful candidate must be fluent in English and French and be a warm people-person with proven experience of successful leadership and management in a school setting. Importantly, they will maintain close links with the school in the UK and build relationships with members of the entire school community.

The post is residential, with an apartment at the Chteau and a generous compensation package commensurate with the candidate`s experience. A position suitable for a partner may also be available and this can be discussed at interview.
