The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in the Broadcast industry to develop sales and opportunities in the Asia region but based in the UK.
The role will be to generate and bring in new business accounts and the development, to the optimum level, of existing accounts.The consistent and regular management of distributors` sales and marketing activities in Asia..Developing and maintaining close, trusted-adviser relationships with key customers and system integrators in Asia.

Key responsibilities:

To achieve your annual Sales target through:
i) The planning and implementation of a working pattern and contact schedule for your territory.
ii) The identification of all additional business opportunities through existing customer accounts.
iii) The identification and generation of new business accounts and revenue.
iv) Regular travel and in-market presence at trade-shows, demos, events and as necessary
To ensure that when placing business, all correct Company policies and procedures are followed in order to ensure that the Companys position is protected.
To ensure the maintenance of an accurate, comprehensive and up to date database of all prospective/existing customers in your territory.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge, understanding communication of the companys products; features, modules, limitations, design requests (SDRs) design/development plans, timescales, application, competition, market needs, tendencies/trends.

Based in the UK working from home but with ability to travel and be away from the office and home for long periods as and when required. This is targeted at 10 days per month visiting customers/distributors. Due to time differences flexibility of hours/out of hours working as required.
Salary andpound;55k p.a. neg.doe. plus andpound;20k OTE plus benefits.

Your skills and experience

The ideal candidate needs to have experience in:

- Managing distribution channel
- Covering Asia, meaning being in region 10 days a month (in practice less than this)
- Have broadcast / live audio console experience
- Understand broadcaster workflows and the broadcast market
- Some experience of VoIP or AoIP
- Previous sales experience selling professional audio or audio visual broadcast equipment.
- Previous experience of selling to Senior Managers/Directors of major accounts.
- Previous experience of dealing with and controlling system integrators and distributors.
- Working knowledge of Pro-Audio equipment and Broadcast workflows.
