Our client, a nationally recognised start-up, are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in New York. After seeing unprecedented success since their product launch earlier this year the time to grow is now. Coming off the back of securing a multimillion dollar round of funding this is a great time to be joining one of the most exciting start up business's in New York City. Ideally you will be someone that loves to push the boundaries of what is possible with Machine Learning and not be afraid to think outside of the box.



Requirements:

* MS or Ph.D. in computer science
* Proven expertise (2+ years) in the fundamentals of statistical (Machine Learning-based)
* Natural language processing, machine vision, collaborative filtering, clustering, classification, regression, information retrieval, and/or statistical modeling.
* Experience with data processing and storage frameworks like Hadoop, Scaling, Spark
* Strong programming background with: Java, Python
* Machine learning: clustering, decision trees, neural networks and affinity analysis
