Marine Superintendent / DPA / CSO (Mixed Fleet) - Newcastle - Permanent - £50,000-£60,000
A new opportunity exists for a Marine Superintendent / DPA / CSO to join a Ship Management Company is actively in Newcastle.
The successful candidate will be a Master Mariner, hold their Class 1 Certificate of Competency and have sailed on a variety of vessels. Command experience is essential even if only on one trip.
Previous shore experience as a Marine Superintendent / DPA is a strong advantage.
Duties will include:
- Coordination of vessel inspections;
- Conduct internal audits;
- Update Senior Management on HSSE issues.
- Develop safe working practices and operational procedures.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include private health care, contributory pension, life cover and annual leave.
