We are a groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Wembley with over 20 years` experience in the sector. We work with many of the UK`s top civil engineering and construction companies, including, Balfour Beatty, Volker Fitzpatrick, AMK, CVU, Skanska and Bam Nuttall.
We provide a variety of services, integrating our knowledge of civil engineering and highways work, with our experience in drainage and deep excavation.

Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Marketing activity within the company. The role involves identifying opportunities and bid management.
The post holder will work closely with the senior directors of the business to find opportunities to introduce them to their counterparts in client businesses in order to establish strong long term business relationships and a resultant flow of high value profitable work.
Key Activities the Marketing Manager will engage in the following activities:
* Prospecting and Opportunity Development
* Work with the senior directors of the business to set and agree annual sales targets. Growth targets will be based on knowledge of each target sector; companies we want to target and; existing clients and the share of wallet we aim to secure from each. II. Identify strategic business opportunities by using appropriate prospective skills including cold calling, networking and specific lead generation campaigns.
* Keep abreast of industry developments through the use of market intelligence and research and by building a network of influential contacts.
* Work with the company`s marketing resources to plan and execute relevant marketing campaigns aimed at supporting the business development effort.
* Identifies opportunities to introduce the senior directors to principals in client businesses where we wish to establish `trusted adviser` status.
* Bids and Tenders
* Lead the bid and tender process to ensure that robust bid documents are produced on time and to a high standard reflective of the Mackin brand.
* Work with the Commercial Manager and senior directors on coordinating their input into bid and tender submissions - including senior director sign off.
* Ensure that the processes adopted by the company for major bids and tenders are followed
* Work with senior directors on `go/no go` bid evaluation before deciding whether to pursue a bid/tender.
* Lead pre-tender meetings with the potential client.
* Ensure that all roles and responsibilities of bid team members are understood and embraced.
* Ensure a project timeline is produced for major bids/tenders with clear deliv
