Operations Manager (Maternity Cover)

Our client, a leading international insurer and reinsurer is looking for an Operations Manager on a Maternity Cover Contract basis.

The Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for the operational aspects of this global business. The Operations Manager will partner with and support the group, to drive high performance across the group by coordinating any initiatives which support the delivery of the strategy of this growing, ambitious business. The individual will be a trusted advisor and sounding board to the business leaders of the group on all operational matters and be the “Go-To” person on key deliverables to ensure the CUO and the rest of the underwriting team is able to focus on driving the business forward and ensuring the team is delivering excellent customer service and responds to / champions changes as required in order to do so.

In this varied and interesting position, the successful candidate will have exposure to many areas of the business, including Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Finance, IT, Internal Audit and Reinsurance.

Insurance Operations experience with some management responsibility, ideally gained within an Insurer / Underwriting environment, is essential for consideration for this position. In addition, experience of a global operation would be advantageous.
