Our client is an established and dynamic 7 partner firm with many years of experience in providing all aspects of accountancy, taxation and business advisory services. Due to continued growth and increased business an opportunity has become available to join this already successful firm. They now have a position for a new Manager to work alongside 3 of their partners.
The role will involve all aspects of accounting and taxation in respect of their assigned portfolio. In particular they will be involved in the planning, control and supervision of assignments, whilst carrying out a broad range of management tasks. The individual will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience within the profession, a proven track record of managing a team in addition to technical and operational excellence.
The role will be heavily involved with VAT where you will oversee all VAT returns, Vat budgets and VAT issues. In addition to this you will also be a client facing representative of the firm, ensuring a timely and smooth process whilst mentoring and guiding the firm's seniors where appropriate. This role will also manage the work flow of all accountancy queries ensuring deadlines are met and reports are produced in an accurate and timely fashion.
The motivated and diligent individual will be ACCA / ACA qualified. You should be from a background of working within practice - focusing primarily on accountancy and taxation.
