Production Supply Chain Manager Home based £50,000+
The company
Established, fast growing company, developing and manufacturing FMCG products in China for shipment across the world
The role
Responsible for end to supply chain, ensuring satisfactory completion of UK and International orders
Key responsibilities
 Purchasing and procurement
 Meet deadlines
 Cost negotiation with suppliers
 Inventory Management in multiple locations
 Manage the customer order delivery process
 Manage 3PL warehouse providers in the uk and internationally
 Ensure on time and complete (OTIF) delivery to customers
 Report, monitor and improve performance across the Supply Chain
 Develop relationships with suppliers, customers and key stake holders including third party contractors
 Develop strategies to ensure a lean supply chain
 Develop, measure and continuously improve key Supply Chain KPIs
 Factory audit process
 Manage procurement and logistics budget.
The Successful Candidate
 Hands on proactive managerStrategic thinker with experience of developing supply chain strategy
 Work to deadlines
 Proven ability to manage an end to end FMCG supply chain
 Quality control and product specification and compliance of products
 Strong negotiation and communication skills
 Accustomed to a fast-paced, time critical, changing environment.
 Experience of dealing with Far East Suppliers and negotiations for best price is essential (ideally gained in FMCG).
 Driving licence
 Ideally, BDM experience
 Experience of working with factories directly in the gifting sector, including Injected moulding and ceramics would be an advantage
A negotiable salary c£50,000+ is on offer.
