The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Account Manager focusing on key products and segments (Food and General conveyor belting).This role will have a strong focus on the packaging industry segment and therefore the ideal candidate will have experience in this area.
Experience:
* Sales: 3 years (required)
* Engineering: years (required)
Responsibilities:
* Lead business generation in the region
* Provide continuous feedback on the marketplace for business improvement
* Plan and execute effective and efficient customer calls
* Ensure excellent customer experience
* Maintain timely and professional documentation of activities and results
* Represent the business with professionalism and integrity
Skills, experience and qualifications:
* Ideally HNC/HND/Degree qualified in Engineering or Technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and proven track record in Technical Sales within target markets such as Food, Paper and Print, Materials Handling, etc.
* Strong experience specifically within the packaging industry
* Excellent communication skills and self-motivation
* Effective planning and prioritisation abilities
* Confident individual with strong networking and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of engineering issues relevant to the products and services offered
