Digital Solutions Sales Manager

You love selling digital solutions, right? You get excited at the thought of helping clients achieve their digital transformation objectives by providing them with quality digital products and services, whether it`s a CMS driven website, strategic consultancy, user experience, branding or a chatbot. You use a consultative approach to sell and really understand digital tech. You instil confidence in those you speak too, letting them know there is no better place to go to for creative and technical digital services. You are our next Digital Solutions Sales Manager.


* Owning, managing and growing a pipeline of new and organic business
* Managing our sales team, prospecting, lead generation, delivery of marketing and sales campaigns, relationship management
* Working with a team of consultants, designers, developers, project managers and client services to provide compelling responses to prospects` briefs
* Management of prospects and liaison with Precedent Alliance network
* Responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Invitations To Tenders (ITT)
* Presenting to new business prospects and existing clients
* Identifying new products and services that can be profitably added to the company`s portfolio
* Regular reporting of sales activity to principle management
* Please note that this is not a media sales role, though candidates with media sales in their backgrounds are welcome to apply if they provably meet the stated job requirements


* Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
* Experience of selling digital consultancy, design, user experience, development, branding and marketing as products/services
* Good technical knowledge at a high level, enabling confident discussion about requirements, e.g. CMS choice, website functionality, integrated solutions, etc.
* Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Excellent presentation abilities, both in person and online, including webinars and video conferencing
* Knowledge/experience of selling managed services, e.g. hosting and support
* Knowledge of differences amongst development frameworks, e.g. .NET vs. PHP
* Understanding of software licensing and charging models, e.g. open source, proprietary, consumption-based, etc.
* Proficiency/familiarity with Salesforce


* Experience selling within a digital agency
* Existing network of prospects - beneficial if in the higher education, membership and not for profit sectors, but not limited to these
* Experience of selling cloud-based hosting solutions, e.g. AWS, Azure
* Experience of selling off-shore software development services
* Experience of setting up and executing email campaigns with MailChimp
* Social marketing expertise
* Basic knowledge of project management, including Gantt chart creation
* Preferably degree educated
