Senior Architect (Heritage and Conservation) - Oxfordshire

Salary: GBP 35,000 - GBP 50,000 depending on experience, plus pension and private health insurance. (Negotiable)

Our client specialises in the survey, repair, alteration and management of projects to some of the United Kingdom`s finest and most cherished historic buildings, structures and monuments. They have the required qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience to ensure that their clients heritage asset is treated with the utmost care and attention, and they pride themselves on providing the highest level of customer service and discretion.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for our client to recruit someone to play a key role in the practice, helping to manage and build the architecture arm of the company.

Candidates should have a good working knowledge of statutory approvals, conservation philosophy and the ability to lead on detailing and new design, with strong AutoCAD skills and experience working with builders and administering contracts.

The person our client is looking for will need to have good conservation knowledge and experience working with historic buildings, good technical skills and strong contract administration and leadership skills.
