The Role
Our client is looking for a Senior Bio-Engineer to join our expanding team in London. The Senior Bio-Engineer develops software applications and data pipelines, in collaboration with other team members. In this role,you will report to the Bio Lead.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Design, implement and deliver complex pieces of research and engineering as part of a multi-functional Clinical Engineering team.
Implement and evaluate cutting-edge machine learning algorithms over healthcare data.
Manipulate and evaluate large and complex medical datasets with privacy constraints.
Developing, and operating data integration pipelines to provide high quality datasets for analytical and machine learning use-cases.
Coordinate with internal teams from local and international offices
Create solid and self-explanatory documentation.
Continuously improve the algorithms and approaches. On this note they encourage thinking outside the box and want their employees to challenge the status quo.

REQUIREMENTS
Masters or PhD degree in BioInformatics or related area.
Experience with machine learning in the biological / health domain
Experience in structure modelling of proteins (PyMol, Rosetta, EVOF2, Gromacs or similar)
Knowledge and experience working with handling PDB and mmcif files.
Expert knowledge in areas around immunology, genomics, is advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines.
