Senior Credit Underwriter

Our client based in Sevenoaks are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Underwriter to join their expanding team.

The company is steadily growing and they need a switched-on Senior Underwriter to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Underwriter to expand their knowledge. As a Senior Credit Underwriter, your responsibilities will include:
Provide brokers and customers with accurate case updates during all stages of the process. Assessing cases from brokers and direct customers in order to make informed underwriting decisions
Comply with company policies as well as carrying out risk assessments on loan applications.

As a Senior Credit Underwriter you will also be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
* Drafting policies documents
* To provide excellent customer service at all times
* To minimise risks with a strong focus on fraud avoidance
* General admin and data entry tasks

Skills & Experience
Understands agricultural products, lending and collections
Have experience of specific risk relating to agricultural products i.e. has managed an agricultural portfolio through its full lifecycle, and not simply delegated to recoveries
Is predominantly a back book specialist, with ability to converse with Customers
Understands the bespoke nature of an agricultural business

* credit underwriting experience within a financial institution
* Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Fluent in English

Additional formation:
* Salary up to 60k (depending on experience)
* Based in Sevenoaks
