Implementation Consultant – property software

We are seeking an Implementation Consultant to join our client’s Professional Services team. You will report to the Head of Operations and will work closely with both new and existing clients to understand their objectives, priorities and business processes. Together with other team members, you will translate these requirements into the best software solution and implementation plan with on-going responsibilities for project management, implementation and training of users.

The company is a well-established and consistently successful supplier of comprehensive and widely used property management and accounting systems. Clients include managing agents, occupiers and owners of real estate portfolios.

To be considered for this role you will need to have proven business analysis experience, ideally with software solutions including a significant financial content. Any experience of real estate applications and accounting would be ideal.

Responsibilities are to:

• Engage with both potential new and existing clients
• Undertake reviews of clients’ business processes to ensure a thorough understanding of how best the software can be set-up
• Work closely with other members of the Professional Services team to translate these requirements into the solution and implementation plan
• Project manage the successful delivery of implementation plans
• Conduct training based on the clients’ business process assessments and recommendations
• Produce training materials
• Conduct internal training to other colleagues to enhance their system knowledge
• Keep up to date with the latest products/releases

You must have:

• Business Analyst experience especially in financial/accounting applications
• Financial acumen being comfortable with numbers and accounting terminology
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in written and spoken English
• Organisational and project management skills
• Ability to adapt to change quickly
• Experience of providing application software training
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays potentially up to 4 days per week

It would be ideal if you have any exposure or experience of the property and real estate industry and used software applications such as Qube, ECS, Manhattan, Propman, Horizon, Tramps, o6ix, Bluebox, Yardi Voyager, Propware, Estateman, MRI, SAP Re or similar.

You will be given support and training in our client’s software, but you must be comfortable within a self-learning environment.

Salary is related to experience and is expected to be in the range of £50k to £60k plus bonus and benefits. Candidates outside of this range are invited to apply and will be considered. This is a successful company offering a professional working environment and the chance to progress.
