The Service Division of this established Engineering Group is set to grow substantially across both its field and site based activities supporting clients throughout the UK. Their Service offerings cover both technical and engineering services at client installations and, with an emphasis on quality and continuous improvement, marks them out as one of the leaders in their field.

Their strategy is to offer their service offering both within existing markets and also in new sectors where their niche, quality service and support can make a real difference to the customer. With over 170 personnel the Division forms a major part of the Group and is set to grow further this year.

As part of this they are seeking a General Manager to be responsible for operational excellence across the Division, ensuring that customer expectations are exceeded through continuous improvement, service delivery and cost effectiveness. This will involve the day to day management of the site, field and technical support functions, together with the implementation of enhanced service management systems and processes where required, enabling the Division to stay at the cutting edge.

Ideally you will currently be in a Service Operations Management role for a large service organisation that undertakes UK wide, technically biased support and service, preferably across the automation, distribution, materials handling and industrial sectors. You will need a strong focus on continuous improvement, operational management, enhanced service delivery and a good knowledge of cutting edge systems and processes.
