Summery:
Responsible for managing SharePoint, Jive, servers and intranet systems. Make technical decisions and understand complex low level design documents enough to implement into operational use within a change controlled organization. Must have the ability to document and hand over day to day support of implementations to 1st and 2nd level support teams.
Key accountabilities:
Demonstrate technical leadership in the area of SharePoint, Jive and associated technologies. Make technical decisions and understand complex low level design documents enough to implement into operational use within a change controlled organization. Must have the ability to document and hand over day to day support of implementations to 1st and 2nd level support teams.
Education/Experience:
* Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in IT or other technical studies
* Highly specific skillset or technical training;
* Advanced educational credentials required;
* Greater prior experience in this role (3+ years)
* Understanding of SharePoint environments and able to administer and manage migration work from previous SharePoint versions
* Ability to create and manage SharePoint sites and understand complex and concise permissions and governance and workflow creation and manipulation
* Ideally experience and use of Jive to be able to administer, manage and create content sites
* Ideally experience of using an MDM system for on boarding of mobile devices
Knowledge & Experience:
* General IT skills with WinTel & Unix based applications:
* SharePoint 2013 / Workflows (Essential)
* Jive 8.0 + (Useful)
* IIS (Useful)
* MDM (AirWatch ideal but any will be useful)
