GBP 500 per day - 6 month FTC
My client a leading news publisher is looking for a more traditional Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for a 6 month FTC, to manage and work alongside an established team of junior/ mid-level software engineers and data scientists.
You will help the team build backend services to support their recommenders, data processing services, API integrations and help further develop their analytical website HiveAlpha.
Here is a list of skillsets that will be highly beneficial
Typescript/Javascript and optionally Python
ElasticSearch/DynamoDB
Microservices/Docker/APIs
AWS infrastructure (cloudformation/ecs/lambda/kinesis/sqs)
Nice to have: Tech leadership exposure e.g. junior engineer support, architecture design, delivery planning, development processes, PR reviews and business knowledge etc.
