Technical Solutions Architect needed for a leading financial services provider with strong business commercial experience. You will get involved in the planning, design, and transformation of company`s enterprise architecture and you will be doing everything from delivering High Level Design and acting as the signoff on various technical artefacts, to being the single technical point of contact and guiding the tech team in their delivery of the products you are working on.
You will be working directly with top management, so this is a high profile and exciting role!
Role Overview
In line with business processes, you will help develop IT strategy with a strong business commercial feel, and the overall strategic technology roadmap and digital transformation.
Review architecture strategy given the trend towards SaaS and increased use of public clouds. *
Deliver High and Low level designs *
Work closely with the Director and the other tech team leaders to help continually fine-tune strategies for practices such as architecture management, availability management, performance and capacity management and service design. *
Lead and guide technical team to deliver a flexible and scalable solution *
Provide mentorship and supervise developers
Skills Needed
Experience designing software solutions architectures for applications running on-premises or on public cloud infrastructures (AWS and/or Azure)
The ability to put a high level and detailed design together for data, applications and infrastructure solutions
Extensive project management experience using industry standard methodologies such as Prince2 and SAFe Agile
Experience delivering IT and/or infrastructure projects
Good experience working as a Technical Solutions Architect and a passion for tech!
Good communicator and be able to deal with high level stakeholders
